Responsibilities- Transport deceased individuals to funeral homes, airports, and other designated locations, ensuring a dignified and respectful experience for families.
- Collaborate with first responders, coroners, and hospital staff to ensure seamless processes and procedures.
- Interact with bereaved family members, exhibiting sensitivity and professionalism, while following company procedures for removing soiled garments and other materials.
- Enter deceased event information into proprietary software, maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with moving caskets and maintaining vehicle cleanliness, adhering to safety guidelines and expenditure processes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- At least one year of work experience as a courier or driver, with direct customer interaction preferred.
This role requires frequent standing, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 75 pounds. The ability to work on-call weekends, nights, and holidays is essential. Local and/or multiple location traveling is required, with compliance to Field dress code policy.
