Territory Sales Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Territory Sales Manager with a strategic vision and a keen focus on driving customer satisfaction and growth for the Kansas and Nebraska markets. In this role, the TSM will oversee and expand sales across multiple product lines within an established customer base while actively seeking out new prospects and opportunities. Responsibilities in this role will include converting leads into new customers and driving growth and profitability. This position is key to achieving our sales objectives and advancing our company’s success.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and converting prospects to new customers.
- Establishing positive relationships with current customer base to maintain and grow the business.
- Calling and meeting with customers and prospects on a regular basis to generate sales growth and develop customer relationships.
- Developing a strategic plan for growing the territory and forecasts sales by customer and product category.
- Educating prospects and customers on the value-added features and benefits of our products and our customer service commitment.
- Communicating timely to sales management opportunities, successes, and concerns within the territory.
- Acting as the liaison between the customer and Royal Durham Supply. Following up and reponding timely to customer requests to ensure excellent customer service.
- Attending trade shows and conventions while representing Royal Durham Supply in a professional manner.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience in a related industry.
- Experience selling HVAC products and knowledge of the manufactured housing industry is preferred.
- Prior building materials distribution experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to establish relationships with customers and close prospects that result in sales growth.
- Ability to strategically plan and execute on sales forecasts and business plan goals.
- Understands market trends and the implications of those trends.
- Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Prior experience using CRM is preferred.
- Strong reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent selling, presentation, and communication skills.
- Must be willing to travel 3 nights per week on a regular basis.
- Must live within the territory; preferably located near Wichita, KS or Kansas City, KS.
