Join a fun and exciting Internal Medicine and Nephrology physician's office affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Front and back office experience and abilities along with phlebotomy expected. Epic EMR background a plus but will train upon hiring as well.

Back Office:

§ Provide timely and accurate measurement and recording of vital signs

§ Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests

§ Perform blood draws

§ Perform basic EKG

§ Review and document/enter into medical record patient's medications list

§ Practice OSHA safety standards and performing accurate, legal and ethical documentation at all times

§ Communicate appropriately with patients using the appropriate and scope of license medical terminology and follow appropriate legal and ethical professional conduct

§ Ensure that the collection and specimen handling is followed in the strictest manner

§ Make sure that medical charts are accurately filled and its maintenance properly Instituted

Front Office:

§ Answer the phones, greet patients, and make an appointment

§ Utilize computer skills such as answering e-mails, look up patients’ information, schedule patients, and respond to e-mail appropriately when needed

§ Greet and direct patients in a highly professional manner, respecting the confidentially of each patient

§ Perform insurance and prior authorizations

§ EPIC EMR preferred but not required- will train

Qualifications:

- Excellent references

- Front and back office experience

- Have excellent personal skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team setting

- Ability to stay calm and well organized in times of increase demand

- Detail oriented

- Be reliable and punctual

- Have good computer and writing skills

- Clean background Check

- Bilingual (preferred)

Hours per week:
