What you'll do:

  • Receive client purchase order(s) and manage lifecycle of product (order through delivery)
  • Coordinate and maintain all schedules, retrieval, and delivery of goods
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Provide updates to clients and shipping partners overseas in a timely manner
  • Schedule space on shipping containers and/or cargo air freight
  • Accurately and thoroughly enter all data into systems
  • Organize documentation with FDA and US Customs
· Clerical duties: answer phones, filing, data entry, and other office related work

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 1+ years in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, import/export, or other operations type of experience
  • Reliable – come committed to work hard and we'll reward you
  • Proactive attitude – you get ahead of potential issues or challenges
  • An eye for accuracy – you double and triple check things
  • Strong customer service skills – you deal with the janitor like you do the CEO
  • Excellent communication skills – you handle all types of personalities and situations calmly
  • Knowledge of CargoWise or GoFreight a plus
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Knowledge of foreign language(s) is a plus – all are welcome
Our expectation is to have the team in the office 5 days a week. All hires have 2 weeks of paid vacation.
