RemX has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist with a growing company located in Morristown, TN.  

  • Location: 100% onsite- Morristown, TN
  • Hours: 8am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday
  • Pay: $23-$25/hr

Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist: 

  • Handle a high volume of accounts payable 
  • Process, verify and reconcile invoices and vendor statements
  • 3-way match
  • Prepare and process EFT and payments
  • Process check runs
  • Communicate with vendors on a regular basis
  • Perform general accounting functions: journal entries, account reconciliations, prepare reports, etc.

Qualifications for the Accounting Assistant: 

  • Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
  • Great working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software

  • Great problem solving skills
