Junior Estimator /Assistant Project Manager (HVAC) needed for Commercial Mechanical Contractor to assist HVAC Department Manager with:

  • Minimum 3-Years experience in the HVAC industry
  • Good understanding of HVAC systems
  • Ability to perform takeoffs for estimating purposes
  • Review and critique of HVAC submittals for submission and approval
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment/material deliveries
  • Coordinate with field supervisors-quality control, troubleshoot material/equipment issues
  • Manager subcontractors through duration of project(s)
  • Review closeout requirements for project commissioning/closeout
  • Assist with HVAC piping field installation information/processes
  • Update schedules
  • Order & track material

Must possess good communication skills, computer skills and be able to read and understand complex commercial plans (blueprints) and specifications, AutoCAD experience a plus. Stable and verifiable work history.
