Job Description:

As an Underwriting Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our underwriters and expediting the underwriting process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing pre-reviews of underwriting submissions
  • Evaluating referrals based on underwriting guidelines
  • Providing administrative support to underwriters
  • Reviewing renewal files and inspection reports
  • Assisting with fleet account management

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

We're looking for candidates who possess:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to learn and grow within the insurance industry

Desired Skills:

While not required, the following skills and experiences are a plus:

  • Experience as an assistant underwriter or Administrative Assistant
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of processing systems
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
