Primary Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Accounting: Process and assist in accurate record-keeping for all accounting activities.
  • Cross-Departmental Communication: Liaise with various departments to manage invoicing for finished products.
  • Accounts Receivable: Oversee billing, collections, and cash receipts.
  • Cash Forecasting: Assist in predicting future cash flows.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in enhancing accounting procedures and controls.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory controls, reconciliation, and costing.
  • Payroll Assistance: Support HR with weekly payroll processes, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Journal Entries & Reconciliations: Handle journal entries and complete account reconciliations.
  • Month-End & Year-End Closings: Assist in the reconciliation processes.
  • Data Analysis: Develop and maintain reports to aid in data mining, reconciliations, and analysis.
  • ERP System Expertise: Act as the primary internal contact for the ERP system.
  • Financial Exploration: Maintain an inquisitive approach to exploring financial data and identifying patterns.
  • Cost Analysis: Collaborate with production teams to provide insightful analysis of production transactions.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of the accounting department.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with ERPs.
