Position Overview:

The successful candidate will possess a robust background in tax accounting and accounts payable, ensuring the precise and timely handling of invoices, tax returns, and financial documentation.
  • Support tax accounting functions, including the examination of K-1s, preparation and distribution of tax forms (1099, W-8/W-9), and verification of fund tax returns for compliance with tax regulations.
  • Address both internal and external tax inquiries, manage investor tax questions, and research tax-related language in investor agreements.
  • Ensure the correct authorization and prompt processing of accounts payable transactions, including invoices and expense reports, while reconciling accounts within a multi-entity structure.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable related to contractual terms and payment statuses.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and continuously enhance operational processes.
  • Accurately fulfill ad-hoc requests, maintain comprehensive procedural documentation, and undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
  • Willingness to work on-site
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and tax laws
