Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
- Develop new major accounts, and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Traveling up to 30%
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven Motorcycle Industry work experience as an Account representative, Key Account representative, Sales Account representative, or relevant role within the industry.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Ability to make data-driven decisions, and provide reporting and projections based on KPIs
- Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, Zoho CRM, or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with a collaborative attitude
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate commitment to both quality and tight deadlines
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills required
- Experience with sales in the motorcycle industry to franchise retailers
- Spanish-speaking with experience in business in Latin America.
90 days Expectations: In the initial 30-day period, you will have the valuable opportunity to immerse yourself in our company culture and understand order processing, motorcycle communication system functionality, and customer network. You will also have successfully conducted market research for both North and South America and suggest new opportunities and the direction your territory should be focusing on. By day 60, you should be able to successfully have signed various new accounts in North and South America, conduct daily cold calls to potential customers, and communicate with existing accounts about their current inventory and new order needs. Upon reaching the 90-day mark, you should have signed various motorcycle dealers/retailers and be able to conduct a full report and regular report on the MOA retailer/dealer network, market feedback and new opportunities.
