We are a Naperville-based Outsourced CFO Firm specializing in accounting, finance, and business strategy for growth-oriented enterprises. Many of our clients are entrepreneurs in the creative, retail, and service industries, as well as not-for-profit agencies. Our work is dynamic with intimate client engagements on a day-to-day basis.

 

About the Role:

As a Client Services Accountant you will be responsible for the following routine tasks and will work on multiple clients:

    • Payroll Support
    • Account payable and receivables
    • Cash Forecasting
    • Sales tax and reporting
    • Internal weekly and monthly reporting of key metrics
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Month and year-end closing, including financial analysis
    • Scanning source documents
    • HR support
    • Other tasks as assigned

 

As a Client Services Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for routine tasks for a smaller portfolio of companies as well as management of a team of Client Service Accountants

 

These roles allow for the ability for personal & professional growth to help meet your short and long-term career goals, through extensive communication with various departments within the company and with access to training, mentoring, and management by our Director of Accounting.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Client Services Accountant: 1-5 years of experience in a similar role within an accounting firm and an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

· Client Services Accountant Manager: 5-8 years of experience in a similar role within an accounting firm and a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred

Strong, clear communication skills with internal & client teams

·Well-organized and a quick problem solver in a dynamic work environment

·Strong knowledge of software and technology, including Quickbooks, Excel, online communications

This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting Services of The Nomis Group LLC
