Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Director to join our team You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Home Care team.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate the overall development and operational management of the Agency that is consistent with Visiting Angels objectives and maximize ARC resource utilization.
  • Ensure the Agency upholds the standards of a high-quality provider through consistent monitoring of the delivery of high-quality care and exceptional customer service.
  • Provide staff direction through Round Table Morning Meet at least 3 times per week, outlining clear expectations and accountabilities. Provide timely and effective feedback and coaching to office staff.
  • Ensure regulatory standards and compliance with comprehensive audits according to DHH survey best practice standards.
  • Manage expenditures and the annual budget.
  • Recruit/hire/supervise/counsel office staff and conduct annual performance evaluations.
  • Engage in constructive problem solving and exploration of new ideas.
  • Prepare managerial reports (and/or solicit reports from staff) according to required timelines and email agency owner.
  • Understand the importance of each task and prioritize the workload, shifting priorities to accommodate change and demand.
  • Collaborate with HR staff member, (Caregiver Recruitment & Retention) to engage each staff member participation in the one-hour presentation at week Orientation of new caregivers.

  • Previous management experience in Home Care, Hospice, or other related fields a must.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Demonstrate a passion for helping seniors
