As the Director of Continuous Improvement and Quality, you will spearhead and execute strategies aimed at fostering continuous enhancement and ensuring superior quality across all facets of the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass the development and management of initiatives, processes, and standards that boost operational efficiency, optimize performance, and elevate customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement Strategy Development:

  • Lead the formulation and implementation of the organization's roadmap for continuous improvement.
  • Identify potential areas for enhancement across various departments and processes.
  • Set goals, objectives, and performance metrics to monitor progress and assess success.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align improvement initiatives with broader business objectives.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Establish and uphold quality management systems and standards throughout the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures, including audits, inspections, and certifications.
  • Promote the adoption of quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Total Quality Management.

Safety Leadership:

  • Enhance safety culture by leading and educating others on job safety and risk assessment.

Process Optimization:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to streamline operations, eliminate waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to uncover opportunities for process improvements.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and monitor safety, quality, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develop reporting mechanisms to provide regular updates on performance, progress, and outcomes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to create action plans based on performance data and drive improvement initiatives.

Training and Change Management:

  • Provide leadership and guidance on change management processes related to safety, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement and quality management initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
  • Expertise in process optimization, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex processes and data, and develop actionable insights.
  • Experience with performance monitoring, reporting, and KPI development.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in continuous improvement and quality management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, or other quality methodologies are preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading successful continuous improvement initiatives.
