Job Description:

We are hiring a key account manager (KAM) that is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a company's most important clients, who are often the highest revenue generators. Their role is to maximize client satisfaction, drive revenue growth, and retain top customers. KAMs act as strategic partners and advisors to their clients, helping to identify new opportunities for mutual benefit.

Here are some of the responsibilities of a KAM:

  • Client relations

    Develop and sustain strong relationships with key clients. Understand their needs and requirements, and try to create a mutually beneficial environment.

  • Communication

    Act as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and logistics, to ensure clients' needs are met.

  • Problem solving

    Address and resolve client complaints. Propose solutions to problems and implement them within reasonable timelines.

  • Reporting

    Compile reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders. Gather, report, and communicate customer feedback.

  • Account management

    Supervise the account teams assigned to each key client. Ensure the timely delivery of products and services to clients.

KAMs should have a combination of sales expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. They should also be goal-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and have strong interpersonal relationship skills. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or a relevant field is preferred, and a master's degree is even better.
