Pura Vida Counseling and Wellness, a private practice in Fredericksburg, VA, is actively accepting applications for full-time and part-time residents in counseling to join our group practice. There are multiple positions to fill as the practice is expanding.

Pura Vida provides a steady stream of referrals; however, clinician must be willing to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community.

Requirements are:

  • Master's or Doctorate in clinical counseling,
  • Current State of Virginia provisional license for Residents in Counseling
  • Ability to carry a caseload of 30 clients per week (full-time) or 15 (part-time) and timely complete notes;
  • Ability and willingness to work at least two “peak” shifts per week;
  • Full-time position is salaried and requires 40 hours of in-office hours per week
  • Part-time position is paid hourly and requires 20 hours of in-office hours per week
  • Please note this position is not a telehealth position

Compensation

Part-time is an hourly position depending up on qualifications and experience

Full-time is a salaried position depending up on qualifications and experience

We also have a commission based model available for autonomous candidates
