As a Counselor, you will have a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients by delivering counseling services tailored to your assigned individuals, which includes individual, family, and group therapy sessions, while nurturing an atmosphere conducive to long-term recovery.

You will collaborate with the Clinical Director and Executive Director to create and uphold a therapeutic setting and routine for our residents.

A Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include CSAC, LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LSAT, or LRIC licensure.

Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating clients for substance use disorders using DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to determine the suitable level of care based on ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) standards.
- Documenting all counseling and educational services, assessments, reassessments, referrals, and follow-ups in the client's clinical record.
- Coordinating support services for clients and their families, ensuring all services are recorded in the client's clinical documentation.
- Complying with Pinnacle Treatment Centers' policies and federal confidentiality regulations (42-CFR, Pt 2).
- Engaging in company-sponsored ongoing training and certification opportunities.

Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
