Position: Environmental Services Technician
 

Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour

NO NIGHTS/ NO WEEKENDS

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30a -5:30p

Overview: The Environmental Services Technician plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment within the hospital. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards. The person May work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks in assigned areas
  • Use approved cleaning agents and equipment to clean floors, walls, windows, and furniture.
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and other necessary areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor or maintenance team.
  • Respond promptly to special cleaning requests or emergencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks and supplies used.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and hospital staff to ensure a seamless cleaning process.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a cleaning or environmental services role preferred.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations throughout the property
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
