Job Description

  • Handle payroll and timecards for staff
  • Manage recruitment processes, including resume screening and hiring
  • Oversee employee discipline and performance evaluations
  • Foster a positive firm culture
  • Maintain HR compliance and records management

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in HR
  • Must have worked in HR at a law firm in 1 out of the past 3 years
  • Strong HR generalist skills, including payroll, recruitment, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Law firm or professional services experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with California employment laws
