Responsibilities:
- Coordinates operational plans ensuring operational objectives and KPI’s are met
- Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and guidelines.
- Coordinate set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.
- Manage and ensure production is organized, informed, and prepared to ensure that purchasing, production, quality, and shipping produce positive results
- Review and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets
- Financial Management of plant operational budget, expenditures, and implementing cost controlling measures
- Develop and manage the programs for plant safety, preventive maintenance, SOP’s, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure operational compliance within quality assurance programs; SQF, HACCP, and GMP
- Identify operational and productivity improvement opportunities. Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices. Maximize profitability through limiting downtime and controlling yield
- Complete timely employee reviews and provide constant feedback
- Ensures the plant maintains a safe and clean environment exceeding industry standard
- Drives company initiatives through clear communication with all levels of personnel
- Provide active support of customers and regulatory agencies through participation in audits, visits, and tours.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements
1. 10 or more years of Food or Beverage Industry Manufacturing experience.
2. 6 or more years of Large Plant Supervisory or Management experience.
3. Food Safety / HACCP Training.
