Position Overview:
As the Pet Food Plant Manager at Pilgrim's, you will oversee and manage the comprehensive operations of our pet food manufacturing facility. Your primary goal will be to achieve operational objectives while maintaining the highest quality standards at the most efficient cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide all operational aspects of the plant, including production, maintenance, purchasing, and administration.
  • Ensure safety and adherence to organizational values while directing production to meet cost-effectiveness and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain the facility and equipment in optimal condition to comply with regulatory standards and promote efficient operations.
  • Compile and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting production status and recommending enhancements for efficiency.
  • Foster strong customer relationships through the timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Recruit, train, and develop manufacturing personnel to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Guarantee compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations across all plant activities.
  • Establish production and processing targets for the facility.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates typically require a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a protein processing or conversion environment.

Educational Background:
A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent directly related work experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education. EOE/Vet/Disabled
