Position Overview:
As the Pet Food Plant Manager at Pilgrim's, you will oversee and manage the comprehensive operations of our pet food manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement safety protocols and uphold organizational values.
  • Oversee production processes to ensure they align with quality, accuracy, and performance benchmarks.
  • Maintain all plant equipment and property to comply with regulatory standards and promote effective operations.
  • Compile and present operational reports to management, highlighting production status and recommending improvements for enhanced efficiency.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service through the timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Recruit, train, and develop manufacturing personnel to sustain optimal plant operations.
  • Guarantee that all plant activities adhere to company policies and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Establish production and processing objectives for the facility.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a protein processing or conversion facility.

Educational Background:
A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. EOE/Vet/Disabled
