We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commission Specialist to join our team. 

Responsibilities: 

As the Commissions Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in processing commission payments and maintaining accurate financial records. Your responsibilities will include: 

Software Proficiency: Learn and master the use of a specialized software program called Brandwise/MarketTime to process invoices and payments seamlessly. 

Excel Expertise: Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate and prepare statements for commission processing, ensuring accuracy and precision in all financial transactions. 

QuickBooks Data Entry: Enter relevant information into QuickBooks, maintaining a meticulous record of commission-related financial data. 

Research and Resolve Discrepancies: When issues and discrepancies are found, you must be able to use your knowledge base in finance and the process to find the appropriate resolution.    

Skills: 

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: 

Excellent Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in commission processing and financial statements. 

Data Entry Skills: Proficient in data entry techniques to maintain efficiency in processing large volumes of information. 

Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel for effective manipulation and preparation of commission-related statements. 

Basic Use of Outlook and Teams: Familiarity with communication tools like Outlook and Teams for streamlined collaboration within the team. 

Basic Understanding of Bookkeeping: A foundational understanding of bookkeeping principles to support accurate financial record-keeping. 

 

Qualifications: 

To be successful in this role, you should possess: 

History in Gift and Home Industry preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred but not required. 

Proven Experience: A track record of successfully working with data entry and financial information, preferably in a wholesale or similar industry. 

Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and confidentiality. 

Fluency in English: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members.
