DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST
POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose of Position: Drive brand awareness and engagement, through innovative paid campaigns, impactful content, and creative thinking.

Supervision Received: Reporting to and collaborating with Brand Manager to develop and execute compelling narratives and storylines for various marketing endeavors. Ensuring an engaging consumer journey across all touchpoints of the marketing strategy.

Physical Demands: Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. May need to stand for extended periods and/or lift boxes or materials weighing up to 40 pounds.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office setting with occasional visits to retail partners or marketing related activations.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • A collaborative member of the marketing team focused on planning and execution of marketing campaigns in a combination of paid digital channels including advertising, social media, email marketing, content creation, mobile marketing, and events (possibly on evenings or weekends).
  • Envisions and helps to develop overarching marketing strategies to drive measurable results.
  • Brings innovation to the brand in the form of video content that allows us to stand out and promote engagement in pay for click ads.
  • Ability to create optimized vertical mobile video content using platform tools like CapCut.
  • Able to analyze metrics on paid campaigns and make necessary adjustments to meet KPI’s.
  • Prepare and present update presentations for paid campaigns and strategies to leadership team.
  • Create engaging content, including text posts, videos, and images for use on paid digital platforms adjusting strategies to optimize engagement and enhance brand visibility.
  • Works with community/ambassador/influencers to multiply reach through strategic seeding.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and adapt strategies to maximize effectiveness.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to maximize marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Suggests both ambitious and practical ways to engage Pet Parents.
  • Has outgoing and positive attitude with Pet Parents and in front of the camera.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of marketing coordinator or specialist experience.
  • 3-4 years of expert use in design software and other toolsets.
  • Able to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Strong understanding of paid digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail and proficiency in storytelling.
  • A good listener, able to respond to results and consumer research.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Able to create and manage project timelines and task lists.
  • Energetic and passionate about marketing.
  • Tech savvy (will be working with desktop and mobile apps).
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Organized and methodical.
  • Able to work well under deadline.
  • Good presentation skills.
