Job DescriptionJob Description

Lightworx is a start-up with a huge pipeline that is looking to add to its management team. We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Fiber Optic Network team You will be responsible for the management and delivery of the optical portion of network builds, installations and maintenance

Responsibilities:

  • Follow and implement technical build specifications
  • Manage the delivery of sub-contractors' scope of work
  • Manage stock requirements according to program
  • Follow splicing diagram, splice fibers and manage splicing teams
  • Maintain required project documentation 
  • Manage the quality of civil contractor scope to enable the optical work
  • Report into Head of PMO/CTO
  • Grow and train a team, take on the management of junior techs as they come into the business
  • Develop into an operational or optical build regional/departmental manager

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in splicing fiber is a must
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong track record of working on GPON networks
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Hungry to grow with the company
