  • -         Perform a variety of semi-repetitive operations to assemble precision electromechanical products where methods and sequence of assembly are described by production planning or detailed written instructions
  • -         Reads connection diagrams
  • -         Work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the assembly process
  • -         Assemble fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units
  • -         May perform sub-assembly tests to meet tolerances and product specifications
  • -         Use hand tools and small power tools to assemble units; sets up and adjusts accordingly
  • -         Drilling and tapping skills; familiar with use of squares, levels, and calipers
  • -         May interface with engineering and quality departments
  • -         Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • -         May require computer to record work in process
  • -         Read assembly drawings
  • -         Familiar with ESD
  • -         Performs peer inspections
  • -         Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
