Overview:

Your role will involve executing a diverse range of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical assembly and subassembly tasks on intricate capital equipment.

You will be responsible for assembling and testing baggage inspection systems for airports, container inspection systems for ports, and mobile inspection units for borders and special events.

As a highly skilled professional, you will tackle complex assignments in innovative and efficient manners with minimal errors. A proactive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team with limited supervision are essential.

Responsibilities:


The ideal candidate should possess experience in a broad spectrum of electromechanical assembly, showcasing proficiency in cabling systems, as well as connecting and torquing both large and small assemblies.

A solid mechanical and electrical foundation, along with familiarity with general hand tools, is required.

Assembly tasks may encompass operations such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping.

Knowledge of crimping techniques and pull testing of crimps is essential.

Demonstrated ability to maintain productivity and to proactively shift between job assignments without specific guidance.

Understanding of 5S principles and personal accountability for workspace organization and tooling is crucial.

A willingness to work outdoors in less-than-ideal conditions while adhering to quality and safety standards is expected.

Ability to verify Bills of Materials (BOMs), manage inventory, communicate as needed, and complete accurate, timely documentation is necessary.

Capability to transition smoothly between product lines with minimal training is important.

Assembly will necessitate the use of online manufacturing documentation, adherence to sequenced online instructions, and maintenance of production record books digitally.

Proficiency in understanding BOM structures and the ability to read and interpret assembly and schematic diagrams is required.

Qualifications:
A High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience along with 5+ years of manufacturing experience is required.

Ability to lift heavy objects, work on vehicles, and manage large gantry structures is essential.

Comfort with working at heights using ladders or manlifts is necessary.

An enthusiastic team player with a positive outlook who thrives in a dynamic environment is preferred.
