In the role of Senior Production Test Technician, you will take charge of evaluating and overseeing various components and assemblies associated with our X-ray inspection technology. Your responsibilities will encompass calibration, troubleshooting, and process improvement to align with team goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Establish, calibrate, and diagnose circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies
- Utilize electrical and mechanical testing setups, leveraging your expertise to contribute to future designs
- Adhere to testing specifications derived from technical drawings, execute tests, and resolve system issues
- Compile technical documentation, interpret data, and offer insights for potential solutions
- Employ software tools to implement work instructions and assess technical materials
- Collaborate in the selection and configuration of specialized testing apparatus
- Contribute insights on testing methodologies for New Product Introduction initiatives
- Adapt to modified responsibilities to meet organizational requirements
- Uphold company values and ethical standards, reporting quality concerns to management
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
- A 2-year technical diploma is preferred
- 5+ years of military testing experience may substitute for industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in testing large capital equipment at both component and system levels
- Expertise in Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, and Digital Multi-meters
- Strong background in computer hardware, software installation, and networking
- Familiarity with hand tools, industry terminology, and assembly processes
- Proactive approach to enhancing processes and job performance
- Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and work instruction software
- Knowledge of AS standards is advantageous
