Location: Pittston, PA
Position: Part-Time Equipment Manager
Schedule: Flexible, primarily evenings and weekends during the hockey season

Job Description:

The WBS Knights Ice Hockey Team is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a part-time Equipment Manager. This role involves managing and maintaining all team equipment, ensuring that players have everything they need to perform at their best on the ice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all team equipment, including skates, sticks, pads, and uniforms
  • Ensure all equipment is properly laundered, repaired, and organized
  • Assist players with equipment fitting and adjustments
  • Coordinate the transportation and setup of equipment for games and practices
  • Maintain an inventory of equipment and order new supplies as needed
  • Work closely with coaching staff to ensure players' equipment needs are met
  • Assist with locker room setup and breakdown on game days

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an equipment manager or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of ice hockey equipment and maintenance practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours during the hockey season
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for hockey and supporting a team environment
