  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs within company standards, documenting all repair orders and ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
  • Respond to road service calls and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage assigned repairs, maintain inventory, and ensure proper recordkeeping, utilizing industry-standard tools and software.
  • Provide backup support to other maintenance shop personnel, ensuring seamless operations and efficient workflow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the US Foods maintenance team.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic or equivalent certification, with a proven track record of success.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency, with the ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Prior experience in administering appropriate preventive maintenance programs, ensuring equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
  • Must possess a valid CDL A license and DOT certification, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
