Accounts Receivable/Billing Manager Responsibilities

  • Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Monitor, supervise and evaluate all daily accounts receivable activities.
  • Drive high level of AR team individual and team performance, development, and retention.
  • Prepare reports and lead regular AR status reviews with business and senior management.
  • Ensure effective and efficient management of AR including accurate and efficient processing, reconciliation of accounts, open balances, and the cash application process
  • Resolve any billing or pricing discrepancies or issues.
  • Ensure the team provides exceptional customer service by promptly responding to customer inquiries and resolving any billing-related concern
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements for the AR/Billing Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred, but not required.
  • Expertise in accounts receivable in manufacturing, including invoicing, cash applications, and business to business collections.
  • 7+ years of experience managing large, complex accounts.
  • 5 years of AR leadership experience, including effective people management.
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation of retro-payments and retro-debits.
  • Advanced communication, organizational, and MS Excel (Pivot Tables + VLOOKUP's) skills.
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Must be able to work in the office.

Compensation:

  • Direct Hire
  • Location: 100% on-site in Irving, TX
  • Pay: $80K-$85K/year (Depending on experience)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible work hours.
  • Benefits: 401k with company match; medical, dental, and vision plans; PTO and holidays, and more
