Workstyle:    Hybrid (on-site 2 days/week)

This position will take the lead of parts strategies including in-house(I/H) and outsourcing (O/S) to understand the best sourcing within the Cost Planning Unit as well as model cost, budget, RM, and project reporting. 

The role will create concise, accurate cost and maker layout summaries and reports them to Cost Planning management in support of  development and procurement activities.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Lead cost strategy creation of overall purchasing strategy consisting of best part sourcing (IH/OS) along with procurement team by generating reports, analyzing data, and assisting in the preparation of presentation materials for reporting and/or evaluations
  • Roll up short/mid-term cost and investment budget and make proposals including coordination of the mass production unit cost budgeting and raw materials
  • Participates in coordination of I/H vs O/S manufacturing themes for production to establish most effective business characteristics
  • Execute special projects or future business study and lead projects
  • Manages the access of PSP associates and suppliers to related purchasing systems and coordinate any necessary training

 Who we are seeking: 

 Required Work Experience:

  • Requires 8-10 years related work experience in Manufacturing

 Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business (Accounting or Purchasing preferred) or related discipline or equivalent work experience

 Desired skills:

  • Proficient with programs such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, relational database management (QMF/SQL)
  • Knowledge in leading projects or inter departmental activities effectively with other department leadership members such as Design/ Manufacturing as well as Procurement
  • Strong planning, implementation, and leading projects, as well as management skills 
  • Ability to provide effective presentation skills, up to and including management level
