Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Art Production Specialist to join our creative team. The Art Production Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that all visual elements of our packaging, marketing materials, and product designs are executed with precision and adhere to our brand standards. This person should have a keen eye for details and will work closely with our graphics team to bring our products to life. We are looking for someone who can multi-task, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
  • Modify, revise, and edit projects as required, including color correction, resizing, and retouching images.
  • Work with marketing and product development teams to print and create mock-ups for new product packaging and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure all designs meet branding guidelines and food labeling regulations.
  • Create brand guidelines.
  • Manage and update current NFP’s (Nutrition Fact Panels) per SKU.
  • Write up print quotes and coordinate with external vendors, printers, and other partners to ensure timely and accurate production of materials.
  • Organize and archive all digital assets (such as sell/instructional sheets, product listings, stock imagery, product photography, etc.)
  • Support private label management and maintain our Disney OPA (Online Product Approval) portal.
  • Photograph production samples and upload for reference in our project management portal. Keep portal up to date with status of new and existing projects.
  • Manage supply levels for Art/Marketing office and order additional supplies as needed.
  • Create FedEx shipments and pack deliveries.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Print and Graphic Media Technology
  • 3+ years of experience as a Production Artist preferably in a similar role within a food manufacturing or related industry.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite graphics software: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Experience using X-Acto blades, cutting, and folding packaging prototypes
  • Strong understanding of printing processes, file preparation, and production techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of food packaging regulations and standards is a plus.
