You will greet clients when they arrive, and accommodate guests with bookings over the phone or through our website and app. You will facilitate the check-in process for our pet and parent clients to ensure the pet's total comfort. As a front desk receptionist your responsibilities revolve around providing excellent services to members and guests (both fur babies and human).

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the petbar brand core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy
  • Answer phone calls and texts
  • Set appointments
  • Greet and check in/out members and guests for appointments
  • Promote the Monthly Bath & Brush Program
  • Take payments for services
  • Re-engage inactive members
  • Stay updated on retail products and promotions
  • Support team goals
  • Assist self-wash guests with bathing
  • Sanitize and prep tubs in the self-wash area for the next guest
  • Keep the front desk, lobby, hold rooms and self-service wash area clean
  • Keep management apprised of client concerns

Requirements:

  • Must LOVE dogs and be comfortable and confident in handling dogs of all sizes (and occasionally cats)
  • Must work well individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to perform in a high-energy, fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi task and manage time without supervision
  • Superior customer service skills (prompt, courteous and professional)
  • Professional and neat appearance in compliance with dress code
  • Comfortable working in a loud environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand for 6-8 hour shifts as well as lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable using and learning computer/ipad software
  • Available to work at least two Saturdays a month. Our hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Type:

  • W2
  • Full-time (40 hours a week) OR Part-time (between 15 to 30 hours a week). We can accommodate either part time or full time depending on the needs of the right candidate.
