Job DescriptionJob Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Engagement:
    • Proactively reach out to new hires via phone and email to confirm their start dates, address any questions, and build excitement about joining the team.
    • Clearly communicate all necessary first-day details, including arrival time, location, dress code, required documents, and any other relevant information.
    • Schedule training sessions and provide new hires with access to onboarding materials and resources.
  • Onboarding Coordination:
    • Manage the onboarding process within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and other HR team members to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment, access, and training for their first day.
    • Track and monitor onboarding progress, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to new hires, ensuring their onboarding experience is positive and stress-free.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries and requests for information.
    • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.  
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in a high-volume onboarding or customer service role is preferred.
    • Knowledge of HR administrative processes and procedures is a plus.
    • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required, with iCIMS experience being a significant advantage.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.  
    • Customer-service oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
