Here, it's different. Job Overview The Clinical Education Specialist job description is in alignment with the Association of Nurses in Professional Development (ANPD). ANPD is the practice and thought leader for nursing professional development and the specialty practice organization upon which education specialists base their professional activities. ANPD has identified six core standards of practice on which this job description was heavily influenced: competency management, education, role development, orientation/onboarding, research/EBP/QI, and collaborative partnerships. We deliver some of the best outcomes in the nation and the world, which we share with parents to help them make informed decisions about their child's car As a Clinical Education Specialist at our beautiful South Campus nestled near the foothills in Highlands Ranch, CO, you will support the educational needs of team members working in Pre-Op/PACU as well as in the Operating Room. You will be an integral part of the team ensuring that essential skills are kept up-to-date, helping to support onboarding and orientation needs, leading initiatives around role development, and more The South Campus Perioperative Services team performs approximately 3500 surgeries per year within these specialties ENT, Urology, Ortho, Plastics, and General Surgery. Department: South Campus Pre/PACU/Post and OR Hours: 20 hours per week, eligible for benefits Shift: Part-time salary position. M-F with flexibility Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent with post-master's certification in education Experience: 5 years of clinical pediatric experience.
