Responsibilities:

  • Will have to attain full product knowledge of BMI’s-Injection Molding Machines. This encompasses all standard and optional features available through BMI Dr. Boy product programs including mechanical, hydraulic and control features

  • Consult customers who have unusual and specific molding application and IMM needs. Such consultations may consist of advising our own personnel or customers directly. Consultations may involve customer visits, usually accompanied by respective area Sales Personnel, or by BMI’s Sales Management.

  • Evaluation of Tool design and develop quality molding process

  • Develop and teach seminars for BMI staff and customers relating to all aspects of injection molding

  •  Assist with trade shows and assist on locating molds, materials and processing. In addition to coordination of machinery to be used at the show

  • Coordinate, train and direct activities of field servicemen.

  • Travel with field servicemen, as necessary, to ensure that they are working in accordance with company policies and procedures. Visit customers to promote Boy Machines’ service offerings and customer support.

  • Manage all customer service requests and other customer service-related issues.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of new service offerings and training seminars for Boy customers.

  • Provide technical (troubleshooting) and logistical support to the sales department and customers. In addition to training of customer in technical and process related matters

  • Coordinate, train and direct activities of in-house service personnel.

  • Assist in establishing operating policies

  • Maintain departmental records and reports

  • Perform various short-term or long-term studies relating to parts and service sales activities and suggest optional methods to increase income.

  • Distribute service information and bulletins to sales & service staff.

  • Assist the Accounting Department with invoicing problems and collecting past due accounts as related to service activities

  • Any other items or tasks required by management

​Qualifications:

  • Be able to read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics.
  • Be able to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • able to travel when needed.
