Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outbound Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively reaching out to potential clients, partners, and distributors to drive sales and expand our market presence. Your primary focus will be on selling our music, merchandise, and exclusive products, as well as securing brand partnerships and promotional deals. This position requires a strong understanding of the music industry, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for sales.

Key Responsibilities:

    •    Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients, partners, and distributors within the music and entertainment industry. Develop a targeted list of prospects who align with our products and services.
    •    Cold Calling and Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients through phone calls, emails, social media, and other outreach methods. Present Solo District Records’ offerings and value propositions effectively.
    •    Sales Pitching: Craft and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the needs of each prospect. Highlight the unique features and benefits of our music catalog, merchandise, and exclusive products.
    •    Objection Handling: Address potential clients’ concerns and objections with confidence, providing solutions and emphasizing the advantages of partnering with Solo District Records.
    •    Closing Deals: Negotiate terms and close sales deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive revenue for the label.
    •    Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers. Act as a brand ambassador for Solo District Records, representing our values and vision.
    •    Reporting and Analysis: Track sales activities, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular reports to the sales manager. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
    •    Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, promotions, and artist management teams to align sales strategies with broader company goals.

Qualifications:

    •    Proven experience in outbound sales, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
    •    Strong understanding of the music industry, including distribution channels, marketing, and brand partnerships.
    •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
    •    Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
    •    Proficient in using CRM software, sales tools, and social media platforms for outreach and lead management.
    •    Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
