Senior Administrative Assistant

NJ based sales service company is seeking an experienced college graduate to fill an immediate Administrative Assistant opening within their offices. Position shall report to the Office Manager/Owner and shall also support the other principals of the organization.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Typing correspondence and bid proposals
- Service contracts and other business communications;
- Providing coverage at the reception area when the receptionist is out to lunch, on vacation, ordering parts and supplies etc.;
- Generating spreadsheets for accounting department.
- Billing through QuickBooks
- Filing, photocopying, scanning business related documents/correspondence;
- Scheduling and confirming appointments; and
- Other miscellaneous administrative tasks as directed.
Skills:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in an Administrative Assistant position.
- Must be an accurate and skilled typist (55+ wpm); you will be tested for speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail is essential and must have an excellent command of the English language both written and verbal
- Candidate should be highly organized, possess a professional demeanor, and have the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and have a can-do attitude.
- Must be flexible for overtime when required, at times it can be at short notice.
- Must be comfortable working in a non-traditional office environment.
