Amotec is seeking an experienced (off shift) Maintenance Supervisor Our client is a global manufacturer and has been in business for over 40 years. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and coordinate maintenance activities during non-standard hours (9pm-6am) in the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance by leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring timely repairs and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the off-shift maintenance team
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory
  • Communicate effectively with other supervisors and departments to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred
  • Proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Ability to work off-shift hours
