Job Overview: The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the operational upkeep, servicing, and repair of various equipment as designated.

This position also involves engaging in the preventative maintenance program, addressing guest inquiries, and managing additional work orders as required.

Safety and efficiency are paramount, and the technician will be expected to perform various trade tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and more.

Driving a shuttle van may be necessary depending on property requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the operational maintenance and repair of equipment.

Responsibilities include changing light bulbs, conducting preventative maintenance in guest rooms, which encompasses vinyl repairs, touch-up painting, minor furniture fixes, tub caulking, and tile repairs.

Carry out preventative maintenance on ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen appliances, laundry machines, HVAC systems, guest rooms, meeting spaces, swimming pools, and hot tubs.

Perform plumbing repairs, laundry equipment maintenance, and preventative checks on all exhaust fans; monitor energy efficiency; repair vacuum cleaners and other small equipment as requested.

Respond promptly to any alarms to ascertain the precise location and cause, assess emergency status, and communicate findings to the Front Desk.

Execute additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
