Role Overview: The Area Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of our properties by supervising maintenance teams both directly and indirectly. This role is crucial in providing a secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance operations across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess conditions and address any safety concerns promptly.
  • Guide and mentor on-site maintenance staff, facilitating training and development opportunities.
  • Manage inventory levels and assist in the procurement of necessary maintenance supplies.
  • Prepare and manage financial budgets related to maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Property Management to report significant repairs and maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-site maintenance management.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing maintenance teams.
  • Possession of personal tools and a reliable vehicle; valid driver's license required.
  • HVAC certification and relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong expertise in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety regulations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical education preferred.
