Blue Ribbon Residential Construction, Inc. is looking for a Project Manager to manage mid to high-end residential remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential construction project management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. As a key member of our team, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion while ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.

This is a full-time salaried position, with an attractive benefits package (personal time, paid holidays, 401K with matching, company vehicle with fuel & maintenance, company-paid training, laptop, and more). Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project kickoff meetings to review project scope, expectations, and deliverables with impacted parties.
  • Create detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services in a timely manner to support project timelines and budget requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, inspect workmanship, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, including negotiating contracts, overseeing work performance, and resolving disputes or conflicts as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide project updates, address questions or concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the remodeling process.
  • Monitor project expenses, track budget variances, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize project profitability.
  • Enforce quality control standards and ensure compliance with current building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Document project activities, including daily progress reports, change orders, and project photos to maintain accurate project records.
  • Anticipate potential project risks or obstacles and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact on project timelines and budgets.

 Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years experience in residential remodeling project management.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt quickly.
  • Knowledge of residential construction materials, applications, and take-off lists.
  • Experience using construction management platforms like CoConstruction or BuilderTrend.
  • Active listening to hear team members, client needs, collaborate internally, and respond appropriately.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and state required insurance.
  • Dress and groom neatly and professionally.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a background check and be authorized to work in the U.S.
