Job Description:

Our Accounting Bookkeepers play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our firm. This position requires a highly organized, reliable, and professional individual who is capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform bank reconciliations, expense classifications, fixed asset tracking and other accounting tasks for clients.

- Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documents related to tax preparation and other accounting services.

- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring confidentiality and easy access to documents.

- Assist in the preparation of client form, reports and documents as required.

 

 

 

Required Qualifications:

- Experience with accounting principles and record keeping.

- Experience with Quickbooks

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally and personably with clients and team members.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.

- A self-starter with a curious mindset who takes a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- High school diploma required; further education or certification in administrative services or a related field is preferred.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Associates Degree (or higher) in Accounting

- Experience with GAAP

- Experience with tax & accounting software tools & suites (such as CCH Axcess and Thomson Reuters Netsuite CS).

- General familiarity with technology.
