Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Summer Treasury Analyst to join our team for a summer internship. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in treasury management, supporting the treasury team with cash management, financial analysis, and reporting. The Summer Treasury Analyst will assist with monitoring cash flows, managing liquidity, and optimizing financial strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring daily cash flows and ensuring adequate liquidity for operational and strategic needs.
  • Support the preparation and analysis of cash management reports, including cash forecasts, cash positions, and liquidity analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze financial data related to cash management, investments, and financing activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures to improve cash management and financial efficiency.
  • Prepare and present reports on treasury performance, including key metrics, findings, and recommendations for optimization.
  • Support the management of banking relationships, including coordinating with banks on cash management services and transactions.
  • Conduct research on treasury best practices, market trends, and financial instruments to support treasury strategies.
  • Participate in treasury meetings, providing updates on cash management activities and contributing to discussions on financial strategies.
  • Support ad-hoc treasury tasks and projects as needed, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (must be a current student).
  • Basic understanding of treasury management principles, cash flow analysis, and financial instruments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools; familiarity with treasury management systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and present findings.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Eagerness to learn and apply treasury practices and methodologies in a real-world setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment.
