Overview

 

Join us as a Distribution Manager in Henderson, NV, where you'll ensure timely and accurate delivery of quality products to our customers. You will provide clear leadership to the distribution team, set daily tasks and long-term goals, and execute strategic initiatives to meet company objectives. With a focus on monitoring team performance and establishing KPIs, you’ll maintain high service standards while optimizing logistics for efficiency and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, and lead the distribution team, including supervisors, leads, and workers across various departments.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training on SOPs, machinery, and warehouse activities, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Management: Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize space, labor, and capital efficiency within distribution operations.
  • Operations Oversight: Manage all distribution activities, ensuring timely receipt of inbound freight and on-time shipment of outbound orders.
  • KPI Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs to uphold customer service standards and improve distribution performance.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor physical inventory processes, ensuring accuracy in movement, picking, and shipping tasks.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing within a warehouse environment, overseeing at least 20 workers, and managing large-scale inventory for big-box retailers.
  • Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
  • Certifications: Forklift and Reach Truck certifications are required.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with WMS and a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and transportation processes. WMS implementation experience is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers, vendors, internal stakeholders, and customers.
