Position Overview

VadaTech Inc. is a prominent entity in the realm of embedded computing solutions. We are currently in search of an Inventory Management Specialist to oversee stock levels and ensure efficient inventory control. This role is crucial in maintaining the necessary inventory to fulfill distribution requirements, as well as performing kitting tasks and supplying components to the production team.

Shift Details: This position is available for the first shift, operating from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming components.
  • Prepare kits for new work orders.
  • Distribute parts to address shortages and manage scrap materials.
  • Organize the stockroom for both new and existing inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the stockroom area.
  • Perform regular cycle counts for monthly and year-end inventory assessments.
Additional Duties
  • Assist with shipping tasks as needed, particularly in packaging.
  • Engage in general manufacturing tasks as required.
  • Handle non-compliant components through the DMR process.
  • Collaborate with procurement staff to initiate orders for stock components.
Qualifications
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Familiarity with various electronic package types.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of electronic component types and their packaging.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documents, including BOMs and assembly drawings.
  • Capacity to manage job-related stress and interact positively with colleagues.
  • Fluency in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Capability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of IPC workmanship standards is advantageous.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Mobility around the facility, including climbing stairs and reaching.
  • Frequent communication with others, requiring accurate verbal and written exchanges.

  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
