Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Stone Countertop Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving sales growth, and promoting our premium stone countertop products. This role involves a combination of fieldwork, client meetings, and effective communication to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients in the stone countertop industry.
  • Conduct regular visits to client locations to understand their needs, provide product information, and address inquiries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  1. Sales Growth:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create customized solutions that meet client requirements.
  1. Product Knowledge:
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of our stone countertop products, including materials, features, and benefits.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
  1. Sales Presentations:
  • Conduct compelling product presentations to potential clients, highlighting the unique selling points of our stone countertops.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches to influence key decision-makers.
  1. Quoting and Negotiation:
  • Provide accurate and timely price quotes to clients based on their requirements.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  1. Market Research:
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide feedback to the management team regarding market conditions and customer needs.
  1. Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business transactions.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the stone countertop or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of stone countertop materials and fabrication processes is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
