Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRole of the Digital Media SpecialistThe Digital Media Specialist provides expertise to support all programs and leverage digital content.  This person works with others on staff to develop and market MHANKYSWOH brands. They work with the Community Outreach Coordinator and others to create initiatives to manage and grow the organization’s presence on social media and other outlets and to increase the use of the MHA, PIER, MHFA, BCA, and NKYASAP websites, and other related marketing materials.  QualificationsMinimum Required: Previous experience in a similar role, Associate Degree, or other relevant post-secondary training
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field with demonstrated experience
Additional Considerations: Expertise with social media platforms, website maintenance (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Constant Contact, etc.), graphics and audio-visual creation tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and similar.), and knowledge of marketing practices, trends, search engine optimization (SEO), and resources. Experience with DSL camera operation and related audio/video recording hardware.Requirements for applicationPlease include the following in a cover letter attached to your resume:
  • Links to at least two social media posts on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, or Instagram – showing examples of previous marketing (preferably not personal)
  • Links to samples of three to five marketing flyers in PDF format
