Job Description:

As a Senior Account Manager at 7SIGNAL, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of our innovative solution.  You will lead strategic sales initiatives targeting enterprise customers in Manufacturing, Distribution, Healthcare, and Retail, showcasing the transformative impact of our Wi-Fi optimization platform on their operations.  We are seeking an individual who possesses exceptional sales acumen and experience with selling deeply and broadly within enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Growing existing ARR:
  • Manage a book of business greater than $3M in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
  • Create and execute territory account plans to achieve growth targets.
  • Maintain a proactive approach with each account, leveraging established contacts for account development.
Identifying Expansion and Cross-Sell Opportunities:
  • Identify and capitalize on expansion and cross-sell opportunities to drive ARR growth.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve high software subscription and maintenance renewal rates.
Customer Satisfaction and Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through collaborative efforts with sales engineers and customer service teams.
  • Act as the central point of contact for commercial account issues and customer support needs.
  • Experience in managing relationships with resellers, if applicable, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of strategies.
Contract Management and Administration:
  • Prepare and communicate sales quotes to customers.
  • Administer contracts including renewals, expansions, and terminations.
  • Foster partnerships with customers to ensure ongoing support and alignment with their business needs.
Strategic Business Reviews:
  • Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with a focus on customer retention and growth.
  • Define and achieve success criteria, ensuring delivery of business value and ROI and satisfaction.
  • Position the company's solutions effectively against competitors, aiming for renewal and growth.
  • Track and achieve Net Revenue Retention (NRR) targets, demonstrating effective retention strategies and customer value realization.
Industry Knowledge and Development:
  • Develop deep knowledge of the company's solution, the IT industry landscape, competing technologies, and emerging trends.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments to provide informed guidance and solutions to customers.
Key Performance Measures:
  • Achievement of growth targets and success criteria.
  • Effective churn management and mitigation strategies.
  • High customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Revenue growth through contract renewals and expansions.
  • Positioning and differentiation of company solutions in the marketplace.
  • Achievement of Net Revenue Retention (NRR) targets.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in account management within the SaaS or technology industry, including experience with reseller channels.
  • Skills: Strong sales acumen, strategic thinking, contract negotiation, and customer relationship management skills. Must understand selling broadly and deeply into the Fortune 1000
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in sales or account management (e.g., CSM) a plus.
  • Software: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce and Hubspot), MS Office Suite, Sharepoint and familiarity with SaaS platforms.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
