We are looking for a Lead Building Engineer to assist the Chief Engineer in directing the mobile engineers with the operations and maintenance of all assigned buildings; provides direct support to field operations, performance metric tracking and reporting, and implements strategic material acquisition strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports preparation of monthly/quarterly operations and mechanical reports, and prepares technical evaluations/deficiencies reports on existing mechanical systems and components
  • Maintains staffing schedules and employment records for responsible areas in connection with planning, scheduling and execution of engineering/maintenance work
  • Plans schedule of work in accordance with established priorities
  • Furnishes the engineers with basic data required in effecting overall and long-range planning
  • Responds effectively to all emergencies
  • Maintains and operate HVAC equipment and all associated equipment
  • Coordinates purchasing and inventory control procedures
  • Attends periodic management/executive training seminars
  • Assists in Preventive Maintenance Program and all HVAC Building Automation Systems
  • Assists in the organization of the engineering department
  • Maintains liaison with Engineering Manager regarding work orders, job completion dates and priorities and estimates
  • Furnishes the Engineering Manager with information relative to criticality of buildings
  • Makes recommendations for systems improvement through immediate supervisor or management
  • Makes recommendations concerning Capital Projects
  • Handles other duties as assigned

Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:

  • Valid Applicable State Drivers License
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years training and experience in electrical, HVAC and refrigeration system operation, design application and maintenance
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in technical operations supervision
  • Must possess an excellent working knowledge of computer based applications, to include Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range$43—$48 USD
